Avan Bahman Chemi Company was established in February 2021 with the aim of improving public health by producing active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) required by domestic pharmaceutical companies. Relying on the knowledge and expertise of local specialists, with an innovative approach in accordance with international standards, and focusing on the production of APIs for anticancer, cardiovascular, diabetes, central nervous system, and orphan drugs, the company began its activities. One of the most important distinguishing goals of this company in the pharmaceutical API industry is production from earlier stages, which, in addition to achieving self-sufficiency in producing these products, will also reduce foreign currency expenditures for the country. As a knowledge-based company, Avan Bahman Chemi, by employing top specialists and focusing on research and development of novel molecules, has taken the first steps toward creating the know-how for producing the intended molecules by establishing and equipping an advanced laboratory. At the same time, the plan to build an industrial-scale production site in compliance with the latest international standards, with an emphasis on employee safety and the preservation of molecular biosafety, has been put on the agenda with the help of local experts and the knowledge and experience of international consultants.
