The Research & Development (R&D) division is the beating heart of innovation at Avan Bahman Shimi; focusing on designing and developing knowledge-based processes for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) with emphasis on quality, cost reduction, and efficiency.

Areas of Activity

Process Development: design, optimization, and scale-up of synthetic routes for APIs.

Analysis & Validation: development and validation of methods according to ICH Q2(R1) and drafting quality control protocols.

Stability Studies: performed under different storage conditions based on ICH Q1A(R2).

Technology Transfer: from laboratory scale to industrial production with full documentation.

Technical Support: troubleshooting, optimizing process parameters, and production support.
Work Approach & Achievements

Achievements: development of production processes for several APIs in the fields of Diabetes Cardiovascular MS Oncology and other public health priorities.
